Today in class we had class discussions Jessie Miller’s presentation as well as our class field trip to PSII.

Pixels are the dots on the screen. Vectors are shapes and are like a math equation and when you zoom in it doesn’t show pixels and when you stretch it out to make it bigger it doesn’t show pixels.

We also talked about GRAPHICS

Michael is a big proponent of using Power Point. You can create images easily in PP, then export to use in Word, blogs, FB etc etc. PowerPoint is great to use as a teaching tool because its very accessible for students and gives them confidence in technology.

Mirror Lab – takes your photo and applies a kaleidascope lens. Looks great with ferns and mosses and architecture.
